Here are some of my pictures that I've taken from various places I've been. What do you guys think? Let me start with my home town of San Francisco...

I agree with Luxiebow, I really liked the 3rd one. I also really liked the first Paris France picture with the Eiffel Tower. It's so popular you alway see the same pictures of it but when you take it from a totally different view you notice the picture right away.
My favorites: the 3rd one - all the windows add so much complexity and the whole thing has a feel of "rising up and going over." The tower in the background makes you think for a moment that the city goes on forever, but all the trees in the hills behind makes all this complexity look like an island of activity, nice contrast. the 5th one - There is something so colorful about black and white photos like this, it looks almost cartoonish and retro to me, like a las vegas hotel version of san francisco. But the metalwork on the sign tells you that this is the real deal, and this city is old, very old. I also like how the clock tower and the skyscraper share almost the same shape but entirely different designs, this is a good show of form vs. function, and diversity in the human world. the last one in the paris series - The circular glass really draws the eye to its complexity and makes the right brain try to fill in the rest of the scene, which stimulates thought (a good thing!)
i love the first pic of italy, the colours are so clear and bright, it stands out and its neat how detailed it is, like you are there looking at it yourself, fantastic job! the others are all pretty rad too!
This picture was taken in Oakland, California...after four police officers were gunned down last weekend.
