Drunk vs High?

So I've only gotten drunk like three or four times but its always been while i was high at the same time. Obviously because of this i don't really know the difference between the two. Just wondering if being high and drunk are at all alike? does music sound good when your drunk? does food taste better? etc.

no it does not really feel similar at all ime.

being drunk is just stupid fun in whatever is going on. whenever i get drunk with my friends we yell a lot, run around, generally act like fools. i've always found that my senses are dulled when drunk (mostly touch, but taste as well), and in general it's not nearly as immersive and engaging as being high.

i like combining the two though, it always provides an interesting night, and takes away from anxiety i sometimes get on weed.

 

Food doesn't taste better while drunk. However, music doesn't really sound different when you are stoned but it seems to make you want to dance more which is awesome. Weed, is a good chill experience that is good for hanging with close friends or by yourself. Drinking seems to make you want to move more and just party which is good with either close friends or a large group of people. Also, it is harder to act normal while drunk then with weed.

 

^ Are you kidding? For me music is awesome when im high. I also like it alot when im drunk too. Whenever i do psychedelics or drink i fucking orgasm to music. But i do alot sober too.

Drinking dulls the senses but music does sound good while im drunk but taste goes down.Anyway no i dont think there to similar.

 

Getting drunk is usually a last resort for me if I have nothing else to use. If it's a party and there's free alcohol tho, I will get faded for sure.

Faded = drunk+high

 

Music sounds amazing when high. It sounds amazing sober too but when high it's amazing as well! It gives you another perspective of the music.

WEED! my vote......If I could never drink again i would be fine with that......now say i can never smoke again and we have a HUGE Problem!

 

I prefer getting drunk, but please keep it within limit. I am not a habitual alcoholic, but occasional intoxication with the fluid is a great experience.
Not into drugs. I know people here like weed, and I totally respect that, but weed is not my thing.

 

Yea, I've given up on alcohol. I no longer seek it out, no longer enjoy going to booze-fests, drink it only socially... if alcohol was eliminated I would have no problem with that.
On the other hand, my world benefits from cannabis.

 

I like both. Although, I tend to get munchies more while drinking than when I smoke. I get beer munchies like crazy.

I also enjoy music more when Im drunk, if Im drunk while listening to music with you, beware cause I'll probably start telling you about music I like and telling the life stories of the artists.

Im more open to different music too when drunk. If Im sober, I might skip over a bunch of tracks on a cd, but if im drunk, ill listen all the way through.

 

Thats exactly my point. like f of x said, my life benefits from weed.

I've been drunk a few times, and they were alright. I'd much rather be stoned though.

 

Being weed high totally beats being drunk! Being drunk can be fun, especially in social situations......but it's a lower caliber high compared to being pot stoned.

Alcohol IS a drug .

I far and away prefer drinking to smoking. Not only does the high feel better, but smoking makes my body feel like absolute shit. Mixing them can be extremely fun but it can make me a little too crazy to be socially acceptable! I'd say music is better drunk too imo. The only times I really prefer weed is when I'm alone with time to waste. Then I can just relax with my paranoia and not be consumed by it!
