What type of performing arts do you do?

Seems like the most people are into music.

 

this is why i don't do any 'art'... you end up sounding rather erm....up your own erm ....

I tried all of the stuff in the poll when i was younger and thought i may have some talent but i don't realy have any..this is why i maybe insulting (i am sure) lovely person (i am sure) i have quoted.

 

I play guitar both acoustic and electric(not in a band right now.) And I'm in competitive speech, that means going to tournys and such.

 

all the ones you have listed eccept poetry...and i do other stuff too...like side show acts and such

 

I'm a taper, I've recorded about 45 shows in the last 6 months.

 

I play music. Calling me a musican would be an insult to all real musicans out there though.

 

Guitar, sing, read poetry, act, etc etc etc.

 

I'm into everything though... music, theater/drama, photography, painting, writing, poetry... etc...

 

i like to make films, act on stage or camera, and i bellydance. i'd like to try out flamenco or jive dancing. maybe salsa or tango too, if i can find a partner.

 

I mostly make organic ambient music & soundscapes with a variety of instruments-- synths, guitar, lots of percussion (drums, tabla, mallets, etc.), organ, voice, bamboo flute, etc. I'm trying to get together a chamber group for free improvisation and performing "intuitive" pieces like Stockhausen's Aus den Sieben Tagen; a pipe dream at this point, for the time I guess I'll just stick with the ambience...

 

Ive played solo acoustic shows singing dead/allmans/moe/g.love/jackjohnson at bars and shit.. also put in a couple years worth of St. Patty's day shows with my dad and our Irish band. I record a lot, but Im really lookin to form a group to do live electronica/dance/goodtime music.... something to party to
