Can anyone identify what this soda might be?

Alright, so I know most of the people who visit this forum remember a lot of stuff from years and years ago and I have a question. It's rather vague, but when I was a little kid, my grandma used to always have this soda in her fridge that was a carbonated fruity flavored one in a purple/pinkish can. I've been trying to remember what it was for ages now and haven't gotten anywhere. Does anyone have any clue as to what I might be talking about? It's driving me crazy! I want to know what it is and if anyone still manufactures it. Sorry if my description wasn't much of a help, but any ideas would be great.

Maybe it was some red cream soda? Like an off brand, perhaps 'elf' or 'faygo', back when some pop was like 10 for a dollar or on sale for 5ยข a can mix or match.

Sounds like it could be one of the Nehai's. I love the peach one but grape isn't bad either.

tahiti treat i can believe. there were also as mentioned store and even gas company soda brands that started in the 60s and 70s, with their own markings and colors of cans. also nehi, was in there, incidently the nehi brand and tradmark, was, it is my understanding, was and most likely, if it still exists, still is, owned by the mormon church. i seem to recall nehi, or however it was spelled, comming in their own, rather distinctly shaped bottle. one that was narower and taller then other beverage bottles that held the same amount, with a kind of waffle pattern on part of it. but they did also have the aluminum cans too. mostly nehi, i remember the orange. because i remember someone up in portland making a joke calling it orange death. but they did make or i should say package and sell, the usual other flavours too.

Possibly some Nehi(may be spelled wrong). Like in the tv show MASH, Radar always drank Grape Nehi, and that was way back.

cool can collection. never heard of roon. i wonder what IT tasted like. i don't see a cainfields or a jolt. but maybe their hidden behind some of the others. jolt=twice the caffene, but was a product of the 80s and since. cainfields, i'm not sure when it came out, but that was the stuff that tasted kind of like ordinary ginger/colas except it had an aftertaste of wonderful deep rich chocklet. really odd stuff in that way. wink is another one i'm not familiar with, if i'm seeing that right. i certainly remember little squirt from back in the 50s.

Hold on now. Could have been a Nehi.

I grew up with this brand. Their peach sodas are to die for. And "Radar" on MASH is known to like grape Nehi's. :)

A little off the question, but there used to be several brands of soda's back in the 50's that were packaged in cans with necks on them with a bottle cap. The only one I remember was rootbeer.. As a 5 year old it tasted pretty good......Alaskan

Out of that earlier pic, I remember Mello Yello cans like that. And Food Lion Soda!

BTW, does anyone know what those blue cans with the faces are? Never seen anything like those.
