Benzos can stay in your system up to 45 days,usuallyup to 30. I would not steer you in the wrong direction.They stayed in my system for 43days.I had to do it for work.
for a simple job xanax wont show up unless they test for it specifically. although you cant be certain because it's laboratory tested, not the cheap walgreens drug tests. In any case, benzos stay in your system 2-3 days, so just abstain for 2 or 3 days prior to the drug test and you should be fine. they can be in your system "supposedly" for upto 6 weeks, but the detection period of them is usually 2-3days.
Kilo,you might be right,but I failed a drug test awhile back,I was in a drug treatment program.I took 20 mgs of xanax,I failed a UA for 43 days.I was tested once a week.
that's incredible, 43 days?!? It all depends on whether they are actually testing for benzos, and the type of drug test being administered. I take a probation drug test every month, but I get tested with the cheap walgreens type home drug test kits. I've taken xanax a few days before the test and still passed. But I bet I could take a bar 12 hours before the test and still pass. The test I get simply doesnt test for benzos, which is why Im able to use them. Same with opiates like oxy. I've taken oxy like 4-5 days before the test and still passed. and the proof that I passed is that Im actually posting this. if I catch another violation of probation (VOP), Im going up the road (prison) for a year or two. Thankfully, it appears that as of lately, I've been only getting tested for marijuana. After getting to know my probation officer, and talking with him and him asking me my story of why I got arrested and so forth, I explained to him that Im a raging pothead, I didnt believe in using other drugs, I just loved pot. Shortly after, I guess for the office to save money, he switched me to pot-only drug tests, which made me really happy. I could literally snort a bag of coke in the parking lot and go in and take the drug test crunked up, and still pass cuz Im not getting tested for coke anymore, or opiates, ecstasy, pcp, amphetamines, meth, or so forth.

I also know that in any drug testing lab they do not do only ONE drug pannel,it is 12,or more or nothing,it is not worth the money they spend for staff...
I live in Miami, and first of all, like half of our population is on parole or probation. Im a college student, and my P.O. after a while saw that I wasnt an immediate threat to violate, I am just a responsible college student. And thankfully my probation office is cheap, they dont send drug tests to a lab, they use the cheap home drug tests you can buy in walgreens. If you dont believe me you can visit the office for your self, its in kendall accross from Tamiami airport, on 120 street and 137 avenue.

Benzos are a routine part of the 5 panel drug tests and Xanax will show up. I believe the detection time is 4 to 7 days after the last dose. Depends on your metabolism, doseage, and duration of use. Even the cheap drug tests have a spot for benzos... I saw the guy put the urine drops in the test kit right in front of me... and this was a test for a new job. After the preliminary test, they send the rest of the sample to a lab. Ha, on my way out of there, I couldn't wait to take some Temazepam so I could finally get a good night's sleep!
