Compromised evidence

Okay, what exactly does this mean?

When I was busted I didn't see the cops wearing any gloves when they had ahold of my pipe, doesn't this make it compromised?


Also, considering it was glass it had all sorts of prints on it from all sorts of people, how can they put it all on me? I won't snitch but can they really point fingers directly at me? I was in possesion of NOTHING, it was all on the property, will they stick it to my parents if I tell them to prove it was mine and considering I wasn't in possesion of it all? I don't want that.

 

ya either take the blame or you snitch.. or ya leave it with the owners property.. aka your parents

I wouldn't worry about it MrDot. Your sure as hell not going to convince them it isn't yours, but paraphernalia isn't that bad. Depends on where you live, but you'll get like 6 months to a year probation then it will get taken off your record. (expunged)

 

where did they find the pipe?

 

In my guest house under the mattress.

 

Did they have a warrant?

 

no but verbal consent from my mom, I talked to an attorney, i know what compromised evidence is now, say someone else touches the evidence after me, then it's compromised, police officers though it doesn't matter.

 

yeah maybe if the pipe was used to kill someone tho

 

I suppose they're getting me for drug possesion over a few stems and a couple peices from a bud, like seriously wouldn't even amount to a halfgram, bahaha.
