It's really hard to pick my favorite Byrds album. I really like the first four albums a lot (''Mr. Tambourine Man'', ''Turn! Turn! Turn!'' , ''Fifth Dimension'' ''Younger Than Yesterday'' ) and ''Sweetheart of the Rodeo'' with Gram Parsons.

To me The Byrds were pioneers. They blended folk, country and psychedelic music. I think they started the whole country rock scene of the late 60's-early 70's, which eventually turned into southern rock in the mid 70's.

I missed the whole Byrds era, but was lucky enough to see Roger McGuinn in concert once.

    Favorite Byrd songs:

    Mr. Spaceman
    Have You Seen Her Face
    Everybody's Been Burned
I'll Feel a Whole Lot Better
    Renaissance Fair
    The Girl With No Name
    Chestnut Mare
    Hickory Wind
    Lazy Days
    Lover of the Bayou
    One Hundred Years from Now
    Old Blue
    Bugler
    Pretty Polly
    You Ain't Going Nowhere
    The Ballad of Easy Rider
So You Want to Be a Rock 'N' Roll Star
    Psychodrama City
    5D (Fifth Dimension)
    Eight Miles High
    Mind Gardens
    Wait And See

    and more...

I really enjoy the remastered editions of each Byrds albums with the great sound and tons of bonus tracks and out-takes from the recording sessions. A must for all die hard Byrd fans.
