Don't you hate it when you're watching a commercial and it gets touching, and moving, and you start getting a little teary.... ...then you realize it's a car advertisement??! "This is what happens, Larry.... This is what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass..."
Yeah, I have to admit that I like that one too. :& Having been a soap opera addict at one point in my life, I appreciate the hokeyness of that commercial. One of my all-time favorite commercials (yes, this is how boring my existence can be, I have favorite commercials, shut up) was the Fed-Ex one that had little boys playing with GI Joe dolls that were all wearing dresses. The CEO says at the end of the commercial, "Tell me again, why are they wearing dresses?" And a lackey explains the shipment of action figure outfits didn't arrive in time. Too damn funny that was.
I hate the car commercials that feel the need to blast into your neighbor's living room. I have ears!
I've never seen any of these. I guess I need to watch commercials more so I can join in on the hatred of them.
lol i don't watch too much tv anymore so i haven't no idea what commercials you're all talking about...
Every time I see one like that and it gets me all sad, it turns out to be something for like Eckerd or Johnson & Johnson... I'm a dork.
Yeah, right? Or even the sentimental tissue commercials that make you want to reach into the screen and grab one yourself.
i dont ever watch tv, though i did watch the sox/yankee game the other day just to see history being made.
*blushes* I'm glad I'm not the only one who ever got teary from watching the tube, only to find it is a commercial. Or if you hear what starts out as good music on the radio, and it ends up as a beer commercial. There's this one Texas beer radio commercial with this kick ass drum/harmonica duo that rolls out real nice. I was really getting into it, dancing as much as I could in the car, only to find out it was a beer commercial. Talk about feeling like a dumbass!
