If it was a woman saying "poopy diapers are a daddy diapers and pee diapers are for mommy" would it be sexist?
lol. i think it's cuter when a man says it. followed by that adorable grin. all these feminists are just angry lesbians and women who don't get any...
dude, you just call not it. then whoever lost out has to clean up the poooo. but i have pulled out the "ive been changing all day, its your turn" card. works!
I am the pro at changing baby diapers. I can do it so fast it will make your head spin. Hey, I had one in training pants and two in diapers at once, I know my stuff.
just leave them to deal with it for themselves. change a baby's diaper and he's clean for a day; teach a baby to change it's own diaper and he's clean for life. :cheers2:
I am soooooo gonna make that a rule since I'm breastfeeding you change poo diapers. John is gonna hate me
i have never been hosed. im quick. however, when skys was ready for his first check up, i changed his diaper, and he had pee all over the plastic changing pad (the thin ones) and i picked up the baby, and my mom picked up the plastic, and poured pee all over herself. priceless. wish i had a camera.
it's not a matter of what's in the diaper with us, it's more of a who's available. We have a pretty perfect work schedule, he works mornings, both home afternoons and I work evenings. We probably change the same amount of diapers... well, he probably does more because the baby sleeps in most days I'd say he's done pretty well catching up, I've been doing it for a while having a lot of little siblings... he's probably better than me by now (or that's what I'll tell him lol j/k)
Step 1 Firmly hold Baby under the arms and lift Baby's rear end to nose level. If your sense of smell is still recovering, immediately move to Step 2. Gently sit baby on your lap and squeeze the front portion of the diaper between your thumb and forefinger as if turning a screw. The texture of fish roe or soft mud are good indicators. Step 3 Two clean diapers (an extra just in case), at least four wipes, diaper ointment (A&D, Desitin), and a clean pair of clothes, if necessary. Step 4 Quickly, yet methodically, undress Baby from the waist down. Once the diaper is unveiled, open a clean diaper. Leave the diaper on! Grab Baby's ankles with one hand as you would prepare a Thanksgiving turkey. Slide the clean diaper under Baby's rear. Once the clean diaper is in place and you have the wipes in your periphery, you may start to unfasten the dirty diaper. Grab the ankles again. While removing the dirty diaper, wipe Baby with the front portion. If a poo is spotted, this step is particularly important. Preliminary wiping is the key to success. Once the dirty diaper is free, still holding ankles, place it, right side up, far out of reach of Baby's hands and feet. While butt is in the air, wipe Baby's rear clean. Place dirty wipes on top of the dirty diaper. Liberally apply diaper ointment to Baby's undersides to prevent the nasty diaper rash. Secure the front of the clean diaper. Pay special attention to correctly aligning all snaps. Step 5 Roll the diaper and wipes as you would a burrito, starting with the front. Secure the burrito diaper with the velcro strips to make a compact ball. Throw diaper away.
