    Hey p's
Im in Adelaide and I was just caught drink driving. I have to go to a Driver Assesment Clinic so that the law-people can decide whether I am an 'alcoholic' or not.
I was wondering if anyone out there has attended the clinic and if so, what is involved, what kind of questions they will ask, etc.
It will affect how long I lose my license for and I have 3kids so it fairly important for me to not cock this up.

The law here says if you get caught twice in 3 years you have to be assessed for Alcoholism and if found to be 'alcoholic' you lose your license indefinitely.
And its only mandatory in South Australia and even then only in a metro area.
This seems a little fascist but not to people killed by drink drivers I guess

In my case I was surprised I was over and I was only going to the shop for milk when I was pulled over for a having a headlight out.

I dont want to 'scam' the Clinic, I just want to be well informed before I go there.

    Ta
