I got my yellow hair toned!!!!

This is exciting. It is now this really pretty beige color and I got layers too!

Thanks! And if you don't remember what it looked like yellow, I have pics in my album.. this looks so much more natural! I know my ends are really damaged.. tho they cut, again.. but 2 bleaches plus a color in less than a month, that's harsh! Good thing I have a lot of hair. I can lose tons.

I was so releived when I first saw my hair after they toned it, she took the towel out and was like.. TADAAAA!!!! And I was like THANK GOD this looks so much better!!!! Can't believe I walked around with yellow hair for 2 weeks. Now I realize how bad it was even more. And I love how light my hair feels now it's been layered and razored.. I didn't wanna do it at first but she convinced me.. and I don't regret.

 

it's much better! maybe when it gets a bit whiter you can get some lowlites... that would be pretty. also, you should try a big curling iron for big waves, that would be freaking sexy with the color and would really work the layers.

Maybe! She advised me to get it toned one more time next time I get the roots touched up to even it up even more cause it was really uneven before - some orange, some brown.. it was a lot of work! And then maybe I will get highlights and lowlights, and I think it will be perfect. As for the curls - I plan on trying it! The good thing about layers is that they work really well for my hair as it is naturally - like wavy/curly (like in my sig)

 

yeah, your natural waves are so pretty! i love when you get a good cut and the only thing you have to fix is your bangs, and sometimes you don't even have to do that. you should definitely do another toner, your hairdresser's right. anyway, i think you are getting the color right... not an easy feat going brown to blonde! but it's so much fun, and you are rocking it i can tell

Hhhhha yea you really gotta wanna be blonde and accept to spend a lot of time at the salon.. lose quite a lot of hair (haha but in my case - not complaning!!).. spend a lot of money!! yea patience.. but that's what I want!

 

man, i seriously used to like damaging my hair because i was so sick of it being all thick and shiny when everyone else's was all stylishly fucked up looking

When I tell people how much hair I lose (and I mean I must lose about 500 every shampoo plus about 30 every day) and that I LIKE that they don't understand BUT I have TOO MUCH hair!!!! I could lose half of what I have and it would be normal.

 

i completely understand. i want to get my hair reduced to like 2/3 of what i currently have. dean's hairline is receding a bit and i told him i would give him my hair...
