thank you :). Yeah i have heard that of that stuff but do not use it. I was going to get some of it but i was not sure if it was residue free or not. But i just ordered some of this. http://www.goddess-within.com/038435300105.html I have been told that aloe vera will help a lot. so thats why i got it.

Whoa, that looks cool. That site in general seems good.
Yeah, Dr B makes certian people's hair feel greasy but a lot of people here swear by it. It's all a matter of testing it out and if it sucks it can be used as a body wash.

Well, worse case scenario you can wash your hair with baking soda.

Sometimes the shipping fee is worth it.

that's cool, it says it's residue free but one of the ingredients is "fragrance"..
hope it doesn't leave a residue... good luck with your dreadies. where are you from?

I have a natural side part that created the most interesting looking dreads on my head. I originally set out to get rid of this side part, but alas it didn't work. It's just the way my hair lays I guess. I didn't go the natural route at first though. I backcombed , regretted it, and then just let my hair do its own thing. But here are some of my pics to some dreads with a side part.
