Pig squeels, Drop A tuning, Breakdowns. Anyone else share the same passion for the brutality involved in letting loose in a mosh pit with a bunch of other sweaty stoned and drunk kids? Heres a good local band if you arent familiar with the music. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfile&friendID=110930004
i am also a fan of the Deathcore genre, only recently have i started to though.. favorites are: All Shall Perish Carnifex Suffocation getting sick of people putting down anything involving the words core in it, Ill admit i dont care for most other cores *metal, emo, hard, sludge* but i find deathcore and grindcore to be a good addition to my current selection of music
Hehe, I enjoy grindcore live every once in awhile since it's quite popular around here and some friends of mine are into it, and I suppose when it mixed well with death metal I could enjoy it live as well.. but listening to it on cd is no fun to me.
I can see where you are coming from. It is an acquired liking. for people that try to squeal or scream or growl, or what have you: it is more of an art and manipulation of your vocal chords. and theres nothing better than being able to hit that note that previously you couldnt.
I used to have utter contempt for it. But...after listening throughout the genre I really appreciate a good god damn scream. Not deathcore but my favorite screams belong to Threat Signal.
Deathcore is alright, but DeathGrind, Grind, ect are my favorites. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4P9Qc1ecSZI the lyrical aspect is an aquired(sp) taste i suppose, but i enjoy it. (frog squeals haha)
I don't know why people think that shit is so hardcore. Testament, theres a band thats more hardcore than any of these "deathcore bands" these kids wouldnt stand 2 minutes in a Testament mosh pit.
