why not just stop brushing now? In a month I bet your hair will start to naturally section itself taking out a lot of the guess work when sectioning your hair before backcombing.

did you do it tight no, quite loose.

did you do it all in one sitting, or over a period of time (and which turned out best) i did the front section in one day, then more the next day, then asked my brother to section the back for me so i could backcomb it, a few days after that. i find it alot better to do a little bit, then come back when you've had time to refresha nd get new enthusiasm : )

did it all come apart when you washed for the first time yes! not back to brushable hair but alot looser than i would have liked.

how long did you wait before washing.. i washed after two days, which is why they all fell out, when i did the back section, iw aited about 8 days, and they didnt fall out, just got tighter : )

did you palmroll them or anything straight after backcombing to make them more sausage-shaped nay palmrolling, i find that helps them fall out for me. i did a little bit of twist and rip, i believe its called..

I agree, washing is goooooood.everytime I wash my hair I feel they get tighter, thicker and more natural looking which is what you want(I think)mewmew.but I didn't backcomb and waited a whole month to wash(thats what I was told)it killed me,my head felt so itchy.then when I washed it was heaven!whatever feels good is usually.I think.ha
