MORE questions below where can i find some good somewhat cheap hemp, cool beads, and maybe some instructions how to make jewelry, headbands and stuff like that with it???
also, is there a way to make these pants i found waist bigger, they fit fine other than the waist, i was thinking i could cut out part of the back in the closer togetrher belt loops, and put this fabric in between since no one sees that part anyway, and it sordove matches. not sure if it will work and i figure someone with experience can help.edit--also, it has 2 of those button things(one on each side) that sordove hang off, one is underneath it... and is there a way to make a hood bigger on a sweatshirt, mine never stays on when i ride my bike or sometimes even when i walk. oh yeah, and i have some really ugly but comfortable spacy leatherish brown vans, and was looking into painting them black, but again i've never did this or heard of it being done, so idk if i would need a certain kind of paint or anything else, thanks a million.
I've tried to put a triangle of fabric onto the back of my pants just around the waist. Basically it makes a really dramatic bell and flares out so people would be able to see your crack when you sit down
I'd really like to help u....i get my hemp and stuff either online or just around at local head shops or michaels, joann fabrics, hancock fabrics....i just get hemp and beads wherever i find ones i luv... so the pants fit wrong in the waist..u can't just add a piece in the waist band..it won't work...u need to add a whole panel down the sides of the pants...and when u do that u need to adjust the fabric through the butt so that they fit right again..here is a link to a pair of pants that will be similar to yours... maybe if ur really interested u can mail them to me and i can do it for u for a cheap price! plz check out my gallery and see all the other clothes i've designed and sewed.. http://www.hipgallery.com/photopost2/showphoto.php/photo/20288/password/399ab9cb21c117cdb6cbc5d15c4b7e94/sort/1/cat/500/page/1
A good resource for how to make stuff is the public library. They have a zillion how-to books about almost everything.
The cheapest way to get beads is to buy crappy necklaces with nice beads at second hand stores. That way you get a whole string of beads for like 25 cents.
