I know this is a really arrogant thing to say, but sometimes I like to think of the RT assholes as quality control. We don't mind so much that people talk crap, as long as it isn't preachy, self absorbed and has some measure of wit or elegance. And looking at the rest of the internetz, I would have to say we are in the middle as far as asshole to nice person ratios are concerned. I wouldn't have it any other way...we don't act fake nice and pussyfoot around each others' feelings but we aren't extremely cliquey either. RT reminds me a lot of myself in real life...I am generally only misunderstood by people with no soul or personality whatsoever that I really don't want to talk to anyway.
