I know that RCs are not in the standard NIDA 5.

I'm also pretty sure they won't metabolize into anything that would trigger a false positive. I'm not 100% though.

So, a question to the more experienced people out there: will moxy, in particular, trigger a positive result on a drug test? What about other RCs and their metabolites? Certainly there is someone with some experience. Maybe we can pool our knowledge of specific cases into a FAQ or something.

I'm 99.9% certain that 5-meo-mipt wouldn't trigger a positive on a NIDA 5 test or even an extended table test, but I have a friend in a position where she must be sure.

    Thoughts?

she is good to go! it should be out of the system within 24-72 hours and even if she is working for the man they would have to know what she is doing to even look for it! so i say ALL clear

    5-meo-mipt wont show up.

most of the 2c-X wont show up, huge doses of 2c-b could possibly show up as MDMA but they usually will not, unless you take a massive dose and take a test right after you come down (even then it is a fairly low chance, but possible)

DOX have a decent chance of showing up as amphetamine, since they are amphetamines

4-XX might show up as shrooms but most tests don't test for shrooms anyways.

CP,55940 and jwh-XXX don't show up as weed in anyone I know who has tried them and then piss tested themselves.

probably none of the 5-XX show up, DMT, DIPT, DPT, wont show up, 2c-t-X wont show up 2c-X have a really really low chance of showing up 2c-b probably the highest chance but really unlikely.

It will not. Even if it did, the way reputable labs test is they use a cheap screening test first. If the test is negative they don't proceed further and you are clean. If something shows up on the screening test shows positive they then test using a GC-MS (Gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer.) The way the MS works is that it uses very strong magnetic fields to destroy the sample put into it and then you can analyze the fragment pattern, different materials have different patterns. In drug testing you use selective ion monitoring -- which means that you enter in a specific pattern you want to find rather than a full scan which is used to identify an unknown material. Since they enter in the fragmentation patterns for the drugs they are testing for, these will not be the same as 5-meo-mipt even assuming it set off the screening test, which it probably won't.

    Thanks all.

I told her that in all likelihood the initial screen would be an immunoassay, for which there is no detection, and without an initial positive it wouldn't get sent to the ms/gc machine.

She was more worried about the metabolites from the substance breaking down into something that could cause a false positive for something else.

What about BZP? Can that cause a false positive for amphetamines?

Good info on the JWH. Danke.

BZP will not metabolize into any detectable material. Bur BZP is a crappy experience so I wouldn't advise taking it.
