Question for Stay at Home Dads or former stay at home dads...

Hello,

My name is Maya, and I have a 5mth baby girl... And I've been a stay at home mom up till now... I'm going to be going back to work by February. And my fiance is going to be a stay at home dad.

And I was wondering if any of you guys out there have been a stay at home dad before?
And I was wondering how your experiences were? And how your perspectives changed (if at all)? I have no idea if this makes sense... So for example: I wanted my fiance to be a stay at home dad, because I wanted him to understand me more and what it's like being a stay at home mom. You know? Kind of understand what it's like through my own perspective...

And also I thought it would be a good experience for him, and he'd be able to see our baby girl (Sophia) grow and try new things etc and not miss out so much on her first few years as a baby? Because babies grow up so fast...

So basically,
How was your experiance?
Has it at all changed your own outlook on parenting and how? Do you better understand what it's like for the female to be a stay at home mom?

Sorry for all the rambling... I'm just making sure you can understand what I'm trying to say...? I understand if you're very confused.

My photography teacher was a Mr.Mom for his last child, he had a blast
