    im full of these lately.


    my head is somewhat flakey/dandruffy,, should i try to sort this out before i get my dreads back,,, what do people recommend to try and sort it out

    im allergic to head n shoulders, ive switched shampoos/conditioners twice since september,, i always rinse twice after shampoo,, wash my hair maybe 3 times a week (it gets greasy..)

    Well I don't know about sorting it out before you get your dreads back, dandruff's not especially nice whether you have dreads or not.

    I'd suggest ACV or tee tree oil- it works for me....

    id just rather have less/no flakies when i do get my dreads, tis all =]

    I would cut out all "shampoo" regardless of dreads. I think the shit is bad and just damages you hair and scalp in the long run. I have recently had an excessive build up of dead skin. I don't have an unusual problem with dandruff, totally normal, but it's just the skin gets stuck in my hair. I recently began washing with 2 baking soda rinses and washes...whatever...followed by Dr. Bronners with Tea Tree oil. Without doing a deep cleanse, it's doing a really good job of ex-foliating my scalp.

    apple cider vinegar me thinks =]

    and shady, i dont yet have dreads,, and im not a big fan of forking out money for dr b's if im hardly ganna use it - when i do get dreads i intend to mainly use baking soda with essential oils
