What better way to measure you're manliness! I can do 50 push ups in a row at best and the most chin ups I've ever done is 18, i hope to one dat be able to do 100 push ups. I was just kidding about the manliness part, I realize there's much more to being a man then physical strenght. I'm just curious thats all. Any tips how I can do more?
ahh i can only do about 25 but this is just silly. Because some people do them slower which is harder and some people do them with an incorrect technique in which case it can be a lot easier.
Thats a very good point. I should have added with proper form. I'll admit though once I hit 35 the form starts to get a little sloppy...
I can do 200+ quick twitch, 150+ slow, diamonds, wides.. train for quick twitch muscle and you can do the same... If you start out do 10, work up to 25 take a break and keep doing that.. Even if your going to try and get more, your very first set of the day should not be stressed.. Dont tear your muscles like you do weight training.. do playing cards. deal your self a 5 card hand and do them, faces increase in 5's, K, Aces 20.
no, your arms are in close, palms at your breast side, you snap yourself very fast.. Its like a reflex push up.. Im not so very thin, but I have no body fat really.. diamonds you have your hand in front of your breast plate, form a diamond with your finger, outside back arms this works I believe.. hard to type explanations.. Get a sand bag and lay it on your back to add weight to upper body..
Ah, pushups... the female of the exercises in that they are the most alluring and deadliest. I love them and hate them. At my peak I could do 200 at a shot, changing hand positions after every 50 or so, and I'd do 500 or so a day...now after a few months of soft living I'm doing 50 at a time again, but the muscle memory is building...waiting for a thread about jumping jacks...
I see.. Thats the way I am too.. Ill drop back for a while, and then bounce back.. 100 now no problem.. prolly take me a week to hit 500 on the second set of the day, springs only around the corner.. :ack2:

about 100 of what Orison calls quick twitch push-ups and then some other varieties like shoulder pushups and wide pushups. then i'll do some yoga type exercises and sit ups. i usually do my first set of the day after i smoke some weed, then my second set after i shower, then another right before I leave for work. never do i do them all in a row, i don't have that kind of focus really.
15 proper ones, lol Back when I practiced martial arts i could do 100, but then I became a pathetic wimp.
