You claim to have mobility issues from an injury, and a pain from an epidural. That does not give you the right to pretend a currently untrained dog is a necessity to your daily life. If chewing the shit out of stuff is helping you in some way, I'd LOVE to know how.

Therapy dogs are a type of assistance dog. Animals in general help with depression, lonliness, anxiety, and a whole slew of other problems. They are trained.

Service dogs to help the visually/hearing impaired are very important to their owners/handlers because they ARE TRAINED to recognize danger, are aware of their surroundings, and actually provide assistance.

Your 'service dog' is being trained (I get that part). Since your dog IS NOT TRAINED, it is simply a dog. There is no reason that because you are so attached to a dog, that you should be able to impose on businesses to let you have this dog in their business, just because you paid 50 bucks and claim a disability (which is still a mystery.)

I would feel the same way about a disabled person. Lets say Johnny Special Needs wants a dog. JSN gets a dog and pays the 50 bucks to get a 'certification'. JSN's dog still is an untrained animal. It serves NO PURPOSE to him in everyday functioning until it is trained.

Its an insult to people who actually have disabilities and a properly trained SERVICE dog.

She HAS NOT stated that she has a disability. She has stated that she has pain in her legs, arthritis, and back pain from an epidural. lrn2read.

If you do a little opening of your eyes, she has a tattoo right where her epidural would have been, she is carrying kids on her shoulders, she is WALKING around the mall, and making wire wrap jewelry. AFAIK, the mall provides wheelchairs to people with mobility issues, arthritis would make jewlery making painful, and carrying children on her shoulders would hurt her back.

    But yeah, she's probably disabled.

She stated she has papers for those things, thus making it legally a disability.

i dont see where it matters or not. i know what she told them, hell if it was good enough for them then its no ones business..

its not like she forged documents or even made false statements. she does have some mobility problems, she stated that on her application and it was good enough for them so what the fuck does it matter? it doesnt..

i mean really if she went through the application process and received the papers then who is anyone to judge? ya dont like the way the ADA issues credentials, take it up with them not with a person who played by their rules and was awarded certification..

How is this an insult? She has said she has disabilities, and she doesn't have to go into great detail on an internet forum just to satisfy you.

    Quit discriminating.

Sub does apparently, i don't see how me taking my dog out is SICKENING though, that's what made me decide to actually comment on him being stuck on stupid. i mean really my dog chews up stuff wose dog didn't do that as a puppy? and she wags her tail yes but i think that means shes happy. so does that mean i should make her not wag her tail and she'll be pissy all the time. WTF?
