I think your dreams are an alternate reality of your experience. Science says its a gathering of your memories. but you see things in your dreams you've never seen before. Dreams are of an alternate dimension. There are an infinity, thats why your so lost in how to make sense of them, cause they may be several dimensions in one dream, i know for a fact why dreams are remembered cause your in a light sleep, and those people who say they dont have dreams, are having a good night deep sleep. because the time it takes you to come out of your state and awake is long, so your memory in the brain, which is slowed down due to sleeping. Causes you to forget your dream, and 10 minutes later you may remember one significant thing. when you are sleeping, time is of no essence to the reality of this world. your dream may go by slow or quick, but you have no clue how long has passed until you've waken up. ( note this is all based on my own knowledge, i've never read any books on dreams or any other resources.) I'll tell you about a quick dream, that i'll never forget. i was lying in bed with this girl who i've never seen before, but met soon after this dream happend. who is now my girl friend. i wake up in bed. lying next to this girl. I was enjoying her beauty and looking at her, when i heard this gradual sound of a rocket. it was a small bedroom with baig walls, a white dresser short and wide, the head of the bed was against the wall with no window., and the foot had about 2 feet space infront, and then a big window with 2 sliding parts to it with a wal under it. well i look out and theres this rocketship leaving a trail and starting to climb up into the air. and the rocketship blew up. and the detial was so fine i can remember seeing two men flying out of it and debree and flames coming from it. and i propped myself up, and then silence for about 5 seconds. and a shockwave broke the windows and i covered my eyes and i woke up. maybe this relationship with this girl could mean destruction of myself or others around me? maybe this actually happend in my alternate dimension in the future or the past of that dimension. I think the dreams of your alternate dimension arent time referenced to the day of yours. for when you die all the knowledge of your infinite dimensions unites with your spirit or entity, for you die at the same time, and are born in the same instant. but not in a time-frame of a time-line of the world. For example. born in one dimension at 700 B.C on august the 7th. But at the same time my entity is born into a body at 1986 on January the 12th, this could determine your lucky numbers or days or statistics. In your life. a Psychic once told me i was a Warrior in my past life for a barbaric like culture in ancient times around the dark ages. and i was famous among my people for being recognized as a great fighter. Never had any female relations but sex with woman and did not make many friends, but those who were were very loyal to you. and she said I was killed by a spy from another nation. i agreed with this and disagreed with this. I disagreed with this by asking thats it. nothing else, no other lives? just that one? shouldn't there be other existances of my presence. she said no your a fairly new soul, which causes you in this life to become confused with some abstract things, and why you have no parental affection to anyone is because you were alone in your past life, betrayed by someone unknown for you do not know who killed you. your not able to come to closure with that life so your spirit is still attached to that life. I was like this is plausible. this does explain some of my characteristics in this life. i have few friends and no love for any of my family. Id have dreams of war and rage, and yet peaceful landscapes, but the dream of the rocket exploding is something else that makes all that mean nothing. So are dreams just a crock of shit? just your mind putting sounds and pictures together to make a story, and the reason why they dont make sense is because your brain is somewhat inactive. I have a powerful mind and i think i'm a good thinker. but how do i remember everyone of my dreams once triggered the memory of one is what i would like to know.:toetap05:
Hi Hubris, thank you for your post. I believe that each is their own best source of knowledge ... so, whatever you're being told by other people - be they psychic or not - if it doesn't ring true and resonate from within you, it may be their own truth rather than yours, and no help. Then again you look into the mirror of another and forget if this is you, or them. Still this is your own life long vision quest that only you know true. And even if there's a billion cliché images and role models out there to identificy yourself with and a million answers, the question remains. Who are you ? What are dreams ? Who is the dreamer ? When the 'waking' mind falls asleep, the dreamer wakes to explore the flowering landscape of dreams, knowing he is not bound to the tracks of time. Then the walls you took for solid become translucent, and time you see is but a magic thread, woven into a myriad nets and pockets of events that are ready to disclose themselves whenever you are ready, and become part of the experience. And yet we are dreaming all the time, we forget it ... even as we tend to forget how mysterious this reality thing is that we call waking life and instead take everything for granted. There is a message from waking life to the dreamer as well, and when the bridge between dreams and waking land is entered, it may sound like a question often. There, the waking mind inquires, measures, compares, generalizes, analyzes, divides. Like, what does this specific dream symbol mean, how can I apply it to my day-to-day-schedule ? ... while here, in the mystery land, the dreamer walks unheard and unseen, asking for nothing but the awareness, offering nothing but a growing in consciousness. Then the dreamer stands in awe, to view a reality that is not divided into future and past, where the shells of perception break open, like the rocket that you just witnessed. As dreamers we walk hand in hand, sharing realities, interweaving dreams, helping each other grow so that everything grows and becomes more. Remember who you are ...
