OK. this is just a question... has anyone ever completely fucked up their day because they took a nap, slept or misread a clock? today i woke up a fucking hour early... and i thought i was late... so i rushed. then i found out the real time, and here i am. a couple weeks ago i took a nap at 5:00PM and woke up at 6:20PM. the clock in my room is an hour late ( it read 7:20 when i woke up) so i thought it was THE MORNING, time to get up. i took a shower, got dressed, went downstairs, and starting cooking eggs... then my grandparents called me and told me it's time to walk over for dinner.... uhg...
I've woken up quite a few times thinking it wasn't night, but morning, when it was still night. My main area is a basement, so I have no way to tell the time of day other than a clock. My sleeping schedule is also fucked to the max. I am literally nocturnal. It's bad. Digital clocks should have a PM or AM in digital letters next to the time itself so this shit doesn't happen....
^umm.. most of them do I've done that before.. but haven't gone as far as taking my shower or cooking eggs.. just got really confused for 5 minutes lol
This is me. i wake up at 2am thinking its time for college and im so sleepy i end up doing something stupid. sometimes i got to sleep when the sun comes up, and wake up when it goes down, after 3-4 days like that everything becomes a blurr. I hate sleep, i wish i didnt need it. but if i dont get any, i kinda loose interest in everything. Strong coffee is my friend =)
Really? Since when? And where was I? I know most of them have the dot that says AM or PM, but I've never seen one that actually had AM or PM written out....
i rarely take naps.. unless i know i have nothing better to do.. because a mid-day nap can turn into a 5hr snooze.. and almost all the time i feel laggy when i wake up from an hour or two nap
Learn to read a 24hr clock then Personally, anything else irritates me... My ex bought me this really lovely real (non-digital) clock but it has arty dots instead of numbers on it. Looks pretty cool but takes ages to tell the time heh...
i kinda rely on my mobile for alarm needs... and its really easy to kinda start a call to someone etc when you flip it open and begin pressing buttons because you cant see much on screen/want to set the alarm for a later time.
Rather than seeing 2:45 as "two-fourty five", you could start making your time "FOURTEEN HUNDRED AND FOURTY FIVE HOURS"
