Protip: 75% of the men are assholes, because women are not interested in the "nice" guys. It's a tough road for decent men until they figure this out.

A lot of electronic ink has been spilt on this subject. There are even manuals out there that teach decent guys how to be pricks for this purpose alone. My ex-roommate picked one of this up and he turned into a grade a creep.

No matter how much we would prefer it not to be true, it's pretty incontrovertible. Women select assholes.

That leaves you with 2 options:
1. Try to find a decent guy before he becomes a prick.
2. Sort through the pricks to try and find the one that is decent at heart & didn't start out that way to begin with.

Men lie. They think they're saving your feelings, but really they're just making it harder for you, and easier for them.
Of course, both sexes can be liars. I guess I'm just biased.

well, i kind of agree the opposite about people being good. i believe most of people are pretty good. they just aren't good with EVERYONE.

 

yeah. studies say it requires more areas of your brain to lie than tell the truth.

 

I've never lied or cheated. And I've seen multiple women do both. I also see women routinely chase down liers, and completely ignore "nice guys."

What's not easy for me to be a man, is always having to shoulder the risk of initiation. Not so much because I can't do it, but because it makes me feel undesired and unloved.
