Glad New Years isn't During Daylight Savings

    I was thinking this new years, it's a good thing it's not during daylight savings time...or it'd be so confusing.

    i think it would be alright as long as the time doesn't change at midnight on january first...

    why don't they just leave it on daylight savings time all year?

    I grew up on the East Coast, and lived on the West Coast for a while. When on the West Coast, it was so weird watching the ball drop at 9PM.

    I found the west coast weird with regards to time in many ways

    sporting events starting at 4 in the afternoon etc

    I was there for the millenium, and it was odd to be the absolute last time zone in the world to change

    no really, according to "the internet" (i think it's a navy website i'm looking at) daylight savings went from april through october until 2007, when it became march to november. so there is now an additional month of daylight savings, with one taken away from standard time.
