white liquor is generally devilish, though lately, despite myself, i've enjoyed a little vodka here or there. used to be the only white liquor i'd drink would be gin i'm trying to decide if i want something for the weekend, and if so, then what?
bourbon almost exclusively comes from kentucky. i thought it only came from kentucky, and further a specific area of kentucky, but wikipedia asserts that "95% of bourbon comes from kentucky" so perhaps it used to only come from kentucky. or my grandma just remembered improperly. anyway, most bourbon is kentuckian:cheers2: course theres tons of whiskey made in the US that isn't bourbon, too
anyroad, i got me a pint bottle of jim beam (kentucky straight bourbon whiskey!! none without my signature!) tonight, as well as a bomber of dogfish head's chateau jiahu :cheers2:
Someone up here in Boondocks, NY gave me a bottle of Midleton Very Rare. It's made by Jameson and costs like $150. I love it when people give me booze just cuz I'm an unemployed deadbeat in training...
me too, jack is my gentleman. i love tequila blanco, though... antigua cruz ftw. though i tend to injure myself on those nights.. tonight is shots night for me, too, as it is my buddy stephen's 21st...
aint that the truth. if for nothing but the cold, i had to stop myself from breaking out the bottle and taking a slug off it on the walk home to warm up should have gone this afternoon instead of this evening....at least it may have been an extra 5 degrees warmer oh well.....it wasn't too bad. and i still have a half a glass of "beer" i'm not sure if its a good thing or a bad thing that it was the kind of cold that makes your nose run, rather than the kind of cold that freezes the inside of your nose instantly
