Right, ive had dreads for a couple months now, i have 22 of them and i crocheted them to tighten them up and it worked well, but they dont seem very thick i think my thickest one is 1/2" to 3/4" thick. will they get fatter? how long until i start noticing?

I dont have any experience with crochet, but there seems to be mixed reviews about it.

At any rate, time will thicken them dreads up. all the hair that normally breaks off your head stays put. How long though, is different for everybody.

Also, after awhile they can start to congo and combine, which would make them alot thicker. just be carefull with the congoin. You could encourage congoing by wrapping or beading two dreads around eachother.
