My peircing got infected, and someone who had their nose infected told me that they were told to crush up ipuprofen, or maybe acetemetophin, and mix it with water to form a paste, and then put it on the infected area. has anyone heard of this?
its not going to do a thing for an infection. if you truly have an infection, you need to see a doctor and probably take antibiotics. infections are quite rare. i assume its irritated not infected, so just dont clean it too much (once a day is fine) use hot sea salt soaks, dont fuck with it too much and let it heal. if you have hypertrohic scarring (small red bump), ive heard aspirin crushed up and made into a paste can help, though i havnt tried it. i have had luck with tea tree oil though. for keloids, oil massages seem to be widely reccomended, but i havnt had a keloid.
yeah thats what happened. It WAS infected and i had to take antibiotics. Everything is normal now but I still have a red-covered area where the infection was, and its been there for about a month.
Colloidal Silver= antibacterial, antifungal, antimicrobial, antiseptic, antiviral, immune booster. Loosen over crust with warm water, using a washcloth, clean area gently. Dab Colloidal Silver on with a cotton ball first thing in the morning and again before bedtime. Your infection will start clearing up within minutes.
The best thing to use is going to be tea tree oil or vitamin e oil. Either will work just fine at reducing the redness and swelling.
Vitamin E does not fight infection, but does heal and reduce scarring. Tea Tree Oil Fights infection and has a great source of healing properties. The only draw back from Tea Tree Oil is it gets in your hair and has a heavy fragrance, a very medicinal smell that lingers. That's why I mentioned Colloidal Silver, it leaves no residue and is fragrance free. Happy Healing sh
Thanks guys, I will try some vitamin E. I don't really have the infection anymore, the antibiotics took care of that. The only thing is, my ear is still red after a month of the infection being cleared up
