oh crap. (another facebook thread)

I was considering just deleting my facebook account recently, but decided to keep it just because it's convenient for keeping in touch with people I don't see much. but now...
oh crap. My brother (who happens to be a COP) is trying to add me as a friend on facebook. I'm afraid. If I say no, he'll probably just figure i'm up to no good. If I say yes, he'll have access to all the weirdness and possibly sometimes illegal activities that is me.

WHAT TO DO?

 

You can change your privacy settings, even to exclude just him from seeing your wall, info, bio, everything

yes, add him, and then go to the top tab that says 'settings' wait till the drop down menu pops down, click 'privacy settings' and you can edit from there

 

would your own brother really bust you?

 

do you really write about doing illegal things on your facebook page?

 

well that's cool. i like the sound of those privacy settings. maybe i'll get a facebook page.

 

probably not. he doesn't even do patrolling anymore, most just computer stuff. but still. I take care of his kids sometimes and I don't want him to think i'm a bad person because he found out through the internet that I am a super liberal potsmoking anarchist who likes psychedelic drugs and what not. ya know?

no. Even though I try to keep pictures and talk of illegal things off of facebook, it's all connected. Pictures of me hanging out with people who are stupid and have pictures of themselves smoking bowls and stuff in the same album...etc
I dunno, i'm just being careful.

also yeah, my activities and interests are pretty hilarious and maybe not safe for family member's viewing. ha. ha.

I say just add him and fuck it. Him seeing all of the things that you mentioned probably won't do any harm to you guys' relationship.... and for all you know, he could toke as well. then bam, you guys can smoke bong rips together on thanksgiving

I know a lot of cops who smoke pot. and a lot of cops who drive intoxicated constantly.

 

There is a thing called the privacy options.. You can allow him to see or not see what ever you want. Get savvy to that. Win.
