I dunno .Some of the pics here are absolutely gorgeous , others look distinctly plain.

I think we're all attracted to certain genetic types.Sometimes our type, sometimes an opposite.I really like the girls Greengirl chose.But only some of the ones Autentique chose.

Cherea , I think , porn markets "accessible and in your face " looks.
Fashion promotes skinny , haughty looks ( clothes can be shown better on skinny people).
Girls go for a more "assertive" , maybe even "intellectual type" female beauty , definiely more "girl next door" - that guys dont really like IMO.

I'm probably overgeneralizing. I seem to take note when women's taste in women is different from my own.

(for the most part it seems) male-targeted images of women have to do with accessibility. Female-targeted images of women in the media have to do with inaccessibility, purity, etc.

Because that's supposedly how women want to feel about themselves.

 

i worked a wedding expo yesterday and it was like watching a cosmo mag... some were creepy some were hot. but in general I think women want to be skinnier than most men want them to be.

 

Thaaaaat's my impression, too. But I don't know if it's correct or if I just take more notice of it when I'm vindicated.

 

i think sexy is just being comfortable with what you look like. gross is when somebody naturally sits at 140lbs and starves and works out until they're 110. it's gross because it's obvious that they don't love their body or who they are enough to just be.

 

Dunno , I think bodies sit at 140lbs because they wanna drink alot , eat processed sugary foods and work long hrs in an office.

I dont think there's a conspiracy but every segment of capitalism is selling something.Chocolate and alcohol at Xmas.Then gym memberships in January.

And girls with 6 packs is another 90s invention- because someone makes money out of it
( altho I like girls skinny girls ).

Eating well is healthy.Starvation and eating badly arent.
Looks should reflect balance.

 

I'm pretty sure this is true. Not with all girls but I can think of a few like that.

Well obviously 140lbs isnt" fat".I was replying to someone re being at 140 with a 110 "target".The right weight depends on the type of body the person has.

Its ridiculous to expect someone who's 5' and broad boned to look like a 6'1 small boned model.But also ,it isnt unhealthy to be thin thro exercise and balanced diet.Deps on the circs.

Westerners in many countries *are* overweight these days , if we speak in general terms.

because women ultimately define what they think is beautiful. men are along for the ride. but the hustler women wise up and give men what they want instead of constantly comparing themselves to other women. men generally like a bit of chunk. i'm in luck!

maybe you should write a fashion magazine for women an see how that goes?
