Thanks for the help. Any suggestions on places where I might be able to read how to prepare the tea?

    my oh my.

you can't just go eating syrian rue.

you can buy pounds of it for dirt cheap if you stay away from psychoactive rip off shops.

Do you know about the maoi diet?

If you just eat syrian rue seeds, chances are you'll wind up dead.

You need to follow a specific diet 48 hours prior to ingestion, and 48 hours afterward.

There are also certain medications you need to stay off of for over 2 weeks prior.

    And ALSO
Some shamans make a cold water extraction out of mimosa, called Jeruma.
Mimosa hostillis already has MAO Inhibitors in it's make-up,
but heat from cooking destroys them.

You need 30g for a cold water infusion.
5g for a tea with MAO I ingested 30 minutes prior.

If MAO I diet is followed properly
3 grams of syrian rue seeds ground up in capsules will give you sufficient inhibition.

I'm quite aware of the MAOI diet and what medications to stay away from. I spend my time researching something before I try it. I have the MAOI diet printed out and on my fridge. Just wondering if there is a reliable cheap source commonly used or if I should just go through somewhere like bouncing bear botanical.

And thank you tons for the cold water method.
I'll have to look into that some more.

Mimosa hostilis root bark is one of the natural dyes useful for tie dying clothing, and using mimosa hostilis root bark for your arts and crafts outside of tie dying is completely eco-friendly since the dye itself is only created using the bark of the tree, and considering bark is like skin in that it regrows itself after a period of time, you can rest assured that nature is never hurt when using the bark as a dye base. For any projects where you are looking for earthy reds, browns and purples, mimosa hostilis root bark is without a doubt the best choice for the eco-conscious tie dyer.
