New to this whole thing

Hey guys,
I'm not new to smoking weed really, I've done it before with friends. The difference is, I'm new to buying it. A friend down the street from me sells it, and I haven't gotten the chance to talk to him about buying some, but I want to buy some when I get paid. The thing is, I don't know what to get, or how much. Can someone explain what amounts there are and how much you buy/sell them for? I just want a general idea. I'll be smoking by myself, so I just want the minimum. Enough to get a bit high, I guess. Thanks.

 

See if they will sell you a nickels, or dimes worth.... 5-10 bucks. Weight depends on the person and however they like to scheme.

try to get a gram for ten bucks. that's a good/fair price.

 

If it's your friend I think you have nothing to worry about.

In general it's difficult to find smaller amounts (less than an 8th) if you don't live near lots of people.

As for prices and amounts.


Around $50 For an 8th of chronic, that's 3.5 grams. (roughly 14 good sized bowls)

Around $20 for a gram of chronic, that should be 1 gram or about 4 fat bowls.

A dime or 10 sack is the least anyone will probably sell (unless it's just your buddy), and that's a good two or three bowls.

(For larger amounts)
300-350-400 oz
150-200 1/2 oz
90-100 1/4 oz
40-60 1/8 oz (8th)

Now keep in mind what I just told you is the MOST you would ever pay for good weed. Any more than that and you're getting ripped off or you live in fucking new zealand.

it all depends on the quality. just ask for an eighth. aka 1/8 of an ounce (3.5g). or ask how much it is for an eighth then ask about quality.

 

yea it's always better to ask how much for an eighth or how much for a gram, instead of how much can i get for ten bucks. less likely to get ripped off.

 

You could buy less than a dime; a five piece (half a gram) is also an option. You shouldn't be paying more than 5, but 10 is acceptable depending on the quality.. at your level, I wouldn't worry about that, though.

 

or just get an 1/8th.
idk how much it would be though, depending on quality. around here really good stuff is like $10 a gram, so hopefully less then $35 if its anything decent.

Round here it's either mids, or KB.
Haven't seen much schwag.
KB is 8-15$ a gram
Mids are 7-12$ a gram

It all dependson the amount he is holding in my experience.

Generally cheaper if you buy more.

The guy I know always sells in grams. Idk much about 1/8ths or anything.

Other week we got 6 grams of mids for 30$ cause he just got a big shipment in.

Each gram is individually wrapped.
Unless you buy like a half oz or more or something... But then it's not by the gram.
Most of the time if it's only sold by the gram your getting ripped, so be careful,
