6 months into figuring this art thing out :)

And here we are! I've yet to plan anything ahead, the inspiration is always randomness and oddity. A story here, a squiggly there... the end goal is to form some sort of style out of the void that was the measure of my artistic skill in June. Most pic'd here are an acrylic base with oil on top. All are painted either on MDF or birch/oak plywood. I consider nothing complete

Didn't want to leave this one out

Story of this one: I gave it to a very confused girl at Jimmy John's because it was in the way of my wallet after I ordered my veggie sub. Was a good veggie sub and the look on her face was worth not being able to look at this piece again

The pic here doesn't do this one justice!!! My interpretation of a flowerbed, purposeful contrast of oil/acrylic and texture, but it doesn't show as well as I'd like, particularly the white onion bulb sort of thing on the right. A current work in progress (still wet in the pic).
