    UPDATE!

thanks for all your help guys :)
Its actually better now, ive had the same one in a few days and im just going to let it heal with my nice little gold snake stud :)

    thanks again! :)

    xxx

ok so yes i made a few mistakes with my nose, in the first week it came out (make out session) and i did take it out and put it back in a few times and the actual stud went into the whole by mistake but i popped it back through.

and now there is a kind of inflated bump, and there is some puss and a tiny bit of blood, but thats rare, it gets crusty.

ive put in a thinner stud.

yes, i did forget to clean it sometimes, i know im to blame, sorry.

but please any advice for a fallen one? thanks :)

    blessings

Tea tree oil. I had that shit in my rook, and tea tree saved it. They sell it in the vitamin section at most pharmacies, walmarts, and health stores. Good luck.

Actually... put in a hoop. That's by far the easiest way to keep it clean.

My mom's boyfriend is a piercer, and he says the best thing to clean piercings with is mouthwash. It stings a little, but it works. He also says when there's puss, that it's dirty and trying to clean itself. Just, make sure you clean it everyday, and when it gets crusty, don't pick it off while it's dry, it irritates it; get it wet. Turn it every once in a while so that the crust doesn't hold the jewelry to your skin. And when you're in the shower, move it in and out to get water in there to flush some of the gunk out. Don't play with it too much though.
Hope I was able to help!:)

Um, bad idea! Don't fuck with mouthwash. Just get antibacterial hand soap and try getting a hoop. After a few days, maybe a week, the bumb will go down. They are called keloids. There are a ton of websites about them, but the simplest thing to do is just wash it and change the ring!

    Good luck sweetheart.

What a bad idea. Mouthwash is alcohol. Alcohol is bad for piercings.

yeah this post is all kinds of wrong.. mouthwash... alocohol, peroxide, all are bad to wash piercings in. also, do NOT turn your jewelry unless you are washing it, or some crust could get in the open wound and the piercing can get infected. wash it with foaming antibac soap like dial twice a day and do a sea salt water warm bath for it every 2-3 days. soak it for 15-20 minutes and rinse it dry with warm water. if it continues to pus, it could be an infection. don't take the piercing out - go to a doc and get antibiotics. if you take it out it could abscess and then you'll be in all kinds of trouble.

edit: if you mix some peroxide with hot hot water and daub it on with cotton, it can help... just don't use undiluted peroxide. that's the only think that helped the keloid i got on one of my cartilage piercings :(
