The Denver show sold out in less than twelve hours. I was really dissapointed, but I would have been even more so if it was at Red Rocks. I can't complain too much though, at least I get to see them. Besides, I'm overdue for a road trip.
Wave that flag tour(12jun2004-18Aug2004) wasnt indiciative of a full year schedule, they played 36 shows in just over 2 months and that was it. 2003 was the same, 32 shows in just over three months. If it aint been announced, you really have no reason to expect more. But hey, optimism is a blessing.
So far only presale was available, I assume Ticketmaster will have more on Sat. http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/1E004226B45A6AAE?artistid=865713&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=1
I never thought I'd say this but I just don't get all the hype. They are so overrated together. I would not pay what they're asking for these tix not to mention I lost alot of respect for them doing the Obama thing. I will still go see Ratdog on occasion but the best thing that's happened since Jerry died was the P&F line up with Baracco, Haynes, Herring, Molo, and Lesh. Now that band was tight and took the music to a whole new level, better than the dead the last few years Jerry was alive actually. Bring back that that line up and I'll be excited!
When I looked at this thread it reminded me of when all the poor deadheads would walk around the parking lot with their finger in the air “looking for a miracle” ticket. lol Without Jerry I wouldn't spend more then $5
$69 reserved is ridiculous.. plus ticketbastard fees.. those tickets are gonna be more like $80-$85... sorry.. even though i have a hunch that this is possibly gonna be one of the best tours for the The Dead since jerry left.. i still cannot afford to pay $80 for a ticket and then drive to 5-6hrs to Chicago or 8hrs to Colorado... just not happenin
Missed the original date the Shoreline show went on sale, so I ended up getting a ticket for $80.00. Oh well, at least I'll be there!
sweet man that's the one i'm going to as well! considered the friday night show as well but i think we're just going to check out philly for the night, never been there... looking forward to a "real" philly cheese steak sandwich
Yeah fuck those ticket prices. If thats what it costs to see the remnants of a band, more of the novelty, id rather live just accepting i never got the chance to/never will see them.
Hi everyone, I was sure to try and get my tickets early. However ticketmaster had no tickets at face value on the day they went on sale. Rather they redirect you to ticketexchange where the prices are absurd. Ticketmaster is being sued in Canada for unfair buisness practices. Maybe three people got tickets at face value before ticketmaster (TM) dumps their tickets to thier sister company, ticketexchange. The way I see it now, is that I can't afford to go to the show, im only a grad student making $16K a year. I've seen bob and phil many times when they played alone. Even if the Garden (NYC) sells out, I don't think I want to party with those people. Also, the tickets that were available first are all behind the stage. The cheapest I found was $106. That may get me in, I never sit in my seat, I always party up up stairs when im at the Garden, if I go i'll be in section 402 all the way up there. Good Luck Dead fans B
