I'm also a metal sheep I agree with the metal part, not the sheep part. Not artistic or dreamy in the least, lol I identify more with the rat or snake.
yea, jmt? which description do you think fits you best? x) snakes are so cool! never read up much on the rat.. is that the only part of the sheep that you don't relate to?
earth dragon i believe i can be very down to earth and cool, easy going. and it fits my description well
"The qualities associated with metal are unyieldingness, rigidity, persistence, strength and determination. The metal person is controlling, ambitious, forceful and set in their ways as metal is very strong; and they are self-reliant and prefer to handle their problems alone. The metal person is also materialistic, business oriented and good at organization and stability. However the metal person can also appreciate luxury and enjoy the good things in life. Just as metal can conduct electricity, the Metal person has strong impulses and generative powers and can bring about changes and transformations for those who come into contact with them. Metal is believed to govern the lungs, nose and skin. The negative emotion associated with metal is grief, while the positive emotion is courage." I agree with this so much because I think of myself as a particularly stabilized person, and I've always been highly structured and organized. Definitely have some materialistic tendencies. I also have had pneumonia several times in my life, and I am highly prone to sinus infections (on average twice or thrice a year). Its just that they say the sheep is the most creative, artistic, and poetic sign of the chinese zodiac. I'm really not any of these things. I also do not find myself "too sensitive for the real world". They say snakes are the thinkers. Also "The Snake person loves books, music, clothes, fine food and wine; but with all their fondness for the finer things in life, their innate grace and elegance gives them a dislike for frivolities, small minds and foolish talk." I identify well with this. "Snake people like communicating, particularly interesting and challenging conversations; if the conversation becomes repetitive their attention may soon wander. It is almost impossible to fix their attention for long talking about mundane everyday habits as they prefer to focus on new, interesting and evolutionary ideas in general. The Snake needs mental exercise in a conversation or relationship." And this. "They are also prone to being neurotic, even paranoid, where pet fears and suspicions are concerned." and definitely that lol.
I don't know what the element associated with mine is, but I was born in '89. The year of the serpent. Never really looked into it so much, so I'm not sure what it means, but I do know the characteristics generally associated with serpents, just not sure if they apply.
I'm a fire dragon. I enjoy chinese astrology for the feng shui aspects. Seems that what is supposed to appeal to me in my surroundings as a fire dragon does, indeed. Hubby is a fire snake and we both like similar environments. Heavy on the wood and fiery colors.
I'm a metal sheep too, and yh, its true to me i think. I'ts also said to be the equivalent of the zodiac sign of cancer, also me. And yay, Jim Morrison was also the sign of the sheep . xxx
Just look around the internet, read some books on it. Once you know a bit about feng shui it's easy to do intuitively. For example, metal comes from earth. So items that you'd feel most comfortable around are earthy objects (such as clay pots, earthy colors, etc) as well as things made from metal. Since fire destroys metal you may feel least comfortable in an overly-fiery room (although, you'd want some fire elements to keep things balanced - like a few candles). The elements are fire, earth, metal, water, wood. It gets more complicated then that, but you get the idea.
no thanks !! you will just get paraniod!! i think i will just scratch the surface of my earth dragon and thats it
like since im earth Dragon, and it says stuff like oh u might not like fire things then my subconscious might start disliking fire related things HA!!
ah... I see. It's more about making your environment comfortable and balanced to increase well-being. But if you think you'd get paranoid then by all means don't read into it!
I'm a metal horse. It fits me to a T. c: You are an Earth Snake. Earth Snakes – Years 1929 and 1989 Earth Snakes always seem to be calm and content. They’re friendly and approachable and believe that they’ll reap great rewards by working hard and relying on common sense. http://www.chinesezodiac.com/ Personality Occupying the 6th position in the Chinese Zodiac, the Snake symbolizes such character traits as intelligence, gracefulness and materialism. When it comes to decision-making, Snakes are extremely analytical and as a result, they don’t jump into situations. They are effective at getting the things they want, even if it means they have to scheme and plot along the way. Snakes are very materialistic creatures, preferring to surround themselves with the finest that life has to offer. This is especially evident in the home, where luxurious furnishings and surroundings help Snakes seek the peace they need in order to thrive. Health Snakes prefer living a life of calmness, preferring quietness over noise and a manageable workload rather than a schedule that’s overly-booked. Snakes become easily stressed when their lives aren’t peaceful or in order. Too much of this way of life can shorten a snake’s life! Career Snakes do work very hard, but they have a tendency to be job-hoppers as they become easily bored. Their somewhat laid-back attitude causes them to be mistakenly categorized as slackers, but nothing could be further from the truth! Snakes are very creative and extremely diligent. They’re excellent problem-solvers and thrive under tight deadlines. Good career choices for Snakes include: scientist, analyst, investigator, painter, potter, jeweler, astrologer, magician, dietician, and sociologist. Relationships Snakes are excellent seducers so they never have trouble attracting others. However, they’ll be the ones to decide when a relationship has potential and when it does not. Once they’ve chosen a partner, a Snake’s insecure side will begin to show through. Snakes guards their chosen partners much like a prized possessions, becoming jealous and even obsessive. Snakes prefer to keep their feelings to themselves. It’s important to never betray a Snake’s trust as a betrayed snake will make it a goal to get even some day!
I will have to look into this. I assumed that it was as simple as one animal personality per person. I was open to the idea, especially when I read what I thought was very suited to my personality in relation to my Chinese Zodiac sign but found it hard to fathom that anyone born in the same year would share the same particular personality traits. How could it be that simple? But I am further intrigued now. Similarly, I used to feel very unsuited to my Astrological Sign until I discovered that there was so much more to it.
im a rooster, and some qualities fit me but CHINESE ASTROLOGY IS A LOAD OF BS cmon people it's way too general. a year? please
