this is my high school graduation picture after like 6 months there was no progress because of the waxes (which stupidly i didnt start using until the end actually like after this picture) i tried my best to get them out and i had to cut my hair short and i recently started all over again but its worth it ...i miss them its alot harder now thats its shorter does any one have any suggestions i want to make sure i get it right this time =) http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b36/ijustgotdblocked/ashleyy.jpg
how long is your hair now? just stop brushing it and use a residue free shampoo. in time the hair will section itsself. the sections will keep getting bigger. stop the sections from combining after you have an idea of the size you like. in time you will have fancy locks. you can try different things like seasalt spray, read around for information for extra things you might liek to do.
it basically frames my face im not sure how many inches that is? but i mean my hair is pretty damaged from dying it..im not sure if that will affect it that much doing nothing sounds pretty simple compared to the directions from knotty boy and those people that cause the first casualty thanks !!
they cant get u to pay 70 bucks for a useless kit without 1st selling u on complicated methods and discourasging the do nothing route they insist if you do nothing your dreads will be gross but we all know the waxy messes they make are the ones giving dreads a bad name and making people think theyre dirty and gross ive said this many times but i'll repeat it for you when i started mine all i ever knew abnout dreads was if u stop combing dreads happen pure simplicity
yeah your hair is amazing.... when i first saw your pic i imagined a town of little dread gnomes or elves huddled around you playing with your hair
hahaha where are all these dreadelves i wanna meet them i dated an elf for awhile but she didnt have dreads
if your hair frames your face (what im picturing here) your hair should be long enough to lock and feel physical progress.
i backcombed a bit i am going to put pics up tonight ... hopefully when you see them you guys can give some advice
