^^ HUH??? but Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven." Mathew19:14
jesus was a black jewish communist, dont boycot jesus, boycott all the close minded idiots that wont accept the above as the truth.
you know what... if jesues were alive today, and could see what has been done in, 2,000 years in his name, he would puke and shit his guts out. i don't know about you all but, i have real problems with a father (god) and a religion that scapegoats and nails some guy up on a couple of pices of wood! THAT IS REALLY, REALLY, REALLY SICK SHIT!
then he'd kick some serious ass. all the commercialism and gift-giving is just beyond the limits of sanity. i've been boycotting that shite since the 80s. ain't never going back.
I'm not sure if I got this right, but I'm sure Ghandi said something along the lines of: "I like your christ, but I don't like you christians."
i don't really get what you're saying but whatever. look don't get me wrong, i don't really believe in any kind of god, but jesus taught peace, toleration, and brotherhood of man. any complaints about those?
Well Ghandi has saved me a short rant, that qoute pretty much sums it up. Another one, not as good, but still something to think about "I never hated the one true God, just the the God of all the people I hated." MM Anyway, i wonder why Stalk got banned?
Can't we all just get along? For shit's sake... I let you have your beliefs, you let me have mine. Can't we all just shut up and get along? I respect other's beliefs, and as a member of the human race, I suggest everybody do the same. So, you don't agree? Don't try to take their holidays, or their religious centers, or their Holy Books. I'm a Christian. Do I hate others or their beliefs? No. I know a Muslim. He's a good friend of mine, and we discuss our respective faiths often. I know a Satanist. We have had calm, quiet, rational debate on our respective beliefs. He respects my faith, and does not question me or spew hatred against my religion. It is a mutual respect. I have, in the past, known practicioners of Hindu, Buddhism, Paganism, etc. Never once did I have a religious argument with them. We all need to be tolerant. I agree with boycotting a true injustice like heavy polluters, corporate entities who are taking their investor's money and tossing it down the drain, unconstitutional laws, etc. But boycotting the center of a religion? No. Let us all exist together on this planet, in peace and harmony, to each his own. If we do not do so, we will no longer exist on this planet, for we will destroy it as we destroy ourselves and each other.
This argument is why I believe that for God's Sake (!!!) someone should keep the true Hippy Spirit alive and not bicker about petty issues such as this. Personally, I don't like Christmas either, because it's this commercialized, fluffy holiday, which everyone celebrates, Christian or not. Hippies were against commercialization, right? I also believe that Jesus was a Hippy (a belief which would get me kicked out of church!), because he wanted peace just like all the hippies. Peace, L_S
amen. how can people preach peace and tolerance and freedom but then bitch about religion. i mean, i used to be anti religion but two of my biggest heroes were very deeply religious and now i just don't really care either way. and the thing is, most people don't really mind religion, they hate how dumbasses use religion as an excuse for intolerance. but the thing is even if joe redneck and george bush didn't have religion, they would still be racist. its not the religion, MLK was deeply religious and i don't think anyone on this forum has much of a problem with him, same with Gandhi. so don't preach peace love and tolerance and then be intolerant. and complain about stuff that actually matters. and then don't just complain, take action and change it!
i was gonna boycott jesus, but then he swung by my house and turned my entire lawn into white rhino chronic. jesus, my friend...bribe accepted.
No, not until we have found and destroyed the Chirst-child, paving the way for our dark lord savior SATAN to rule the earth.
The title of this thread underscores an important reality of our times, in which the public is being subjected to "brainwashing" on a large scale via centralized propaganda, and with one particular end-goal in mind, which is to incite opposition against benign forms of religious expression such as Christianity. Be advised that you are now living in a world in which you are free to criticize just about every single religion in the world except for one, and that is the religion of Judaism. Does that seem like it's fair to you ? The ruling powers are atheist Jews, and imo they are seeking to destroy the religions of the gentiles, such as Islam and Christianity. I wish that somebody would start a thread that calls for a boycott of "kosher" products, and yet it doesn't seem very likely that that's going to happen given the widespread fear of being labeled "anti semitic." I would like to see more criticism being directed against the religion of Judaism, if only because it would tend to even up the scales by tilting them back in the direction of fairness, but in the meantime you can always check out the following internet blogs ... http://www.jewishracism.blogspot.com ... http://www.realzionistnews.com ... http://www.theuglytruth.wordpress.com ... http://www.ziopedia.org "Everything there is to know about zionism."
