I'm young, and looking for answers. I hate pretending to be someone, but that seems like the only answer. The whole "Going to hell" christian thing just scared me, didn't influence me. The world is a scary place. The only thing that seems to calm me down and enjoy life is this cute lil' lady. Sorry if I seem over-sensitive, but I'm just looking for some answers to life.
Cute lil' ladys can be very good at that, and the opposite. Don't pretend to be anyone. Be yourself and have confidence in who you are, while being open to change and improvement. Good luck with your religious search. Keep an open but skeptical mind.
The question on Why Be A Hippie is a simple one. Being a Hippie is not something that you decide to be. You are Born Hippie, it's in you your whole life. It's how and what you think and act. The answers will come with experience. Take your time. Your are evolving into and adult. Your body grows faster the your brain. Wait for your brain to catch up with your body before you decide. Be yourself in your timeliness. Embrace each day with wonder and adventure. Experience life to it's fullest, don't be afraid to advance to the next level. Don't rush it or force it. It will arrive when you need it. Don't lock yourself into anything, as you grow so do your values, your priorities. You gain a broader vision of what life has to offer. If you feel you are different then your peers, you might ask yourself to define the differences to help you sort out your possibilities/choices. Read some books on what you are interested in, find others with the same interests and form a group and study. Go out and experience life and there you will find the answers you seek. im not trying to influence you into anything...but i really think hell is on earth, you make your own hell...i use feel the same way, but why live scared of something your not even sure of really exists...and be yourself, make yourself happy dont try to please people, please yourself and you will feel much better inside !! peace
Ahhh, but you can make it your own Heaven too, if you look at life as hell, you will find hell, if you look for heaven you will find that. You hold the balance. You make the call. Go with what your 'Gut Instinct' tells you, it's your Intuition, your Higherself guiding you, keeping you on the right path. Go with the flow that resonates with what is inside of you.
thats true shameless, you will find what you look for. If you look for happieness joy and beauty in everything you will find it. You'll find bad too but thats why us hippies are here. We are here to transcend the current social mind until the whole world can see the love peace and truth that we strive to find.
I think everyone is a hippy at heart, it just needs to be unlocked in some. Open your mind, let beauty and love into your heart, but also see the ugliness in the world and do your best to change it in a positive way. Live and learn and make love and peace wherever you go.
well, you said your young. from what your saying, you sound like a normal teenager. I'm a psych major, and i've taken child development, which covers adolescence. The defining characteristic of adolescence (besides puberty) is trying to find a place. It happens to everyone. and the whole hell concept is complete bs. I'm agnostic, and i think if there is a god, he wouldn't want us worshiping him and and thinking of him before we do anything. do you remember what it was like before you were born? probably what its going to be like after you die.
