I read about this on Wikipedia but it was really hard to understand exactly what it does and how it works. So can anyone help and clarify the mind fuck and simply explain what a black hole is, how its created and what it is capable of doing??????

I also read about the great CERN experiment about what happened, evolution-wise, after the big bang.... You can read about the experiment here...

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/s...-switched-on-no-big-bang-it-works-925568.html

and in the experiment it mentioned that if anything did go wrong with the machine that was used, the machine would create a black hole that would suck everything in.

    Thanks guys,
    Please clarify the mind fuck:)
    :cheers2:

A black hole is our galaxy's belly button, right in the center. The life force comes from that umbillica chord, the in between reality and spirit. Now we just wait for the demon beasts to be unleashed when our baby chord is severed :cheers2:

Most black holes are collapsed stars with gravity so great that even light cannot escape, thus the name. No one knows what would happen if a person got sucked into one, but most likely they would die. As for the black holes in centers of gravity, i got no idea.

And that CERN experiment creates MINI black holes that last only a split second before they decay, so nothing to worry about there.

Black hole is an object or mass that is falling with in it self.

What I always found funny is that there is another or at least there was a thing with same characteristics as a black hole that is the universe its self before the big bang, incredibly small and dens ball of matter the singularity.

This is where white hole theory come to mind black hole is a ball of matter thats collapsing in to its self a white hole is ball of matter thats collapsing out. Basically what a black hole swallows white hole spits out through the wormhole somewhere ells theres allot of speculation do white hole exist most likely no but mathematically its possible they do.

Remember black holes don't just bend space it beds time to so if there is the other end of a black hole it could end up anywhere or at anytime so anything is possible maybe big bang was a and is a white hole o_O?

It'd be kinda neat if black holes were the concretion of new realities. I saw some idea (hawking radiation?) talking about how black holes take on matter while they evaporate the information it once contained back into the cosmos...the idea was to maintain the amount of information in the universe?

well, if the mass in the black hole were formless so to speak then perhaps a new reality can exist in there...being in some ways a blank environment, not just a void like space with echo's of past experiences.

The question of what happens as you pass the event horizon is still being debated. Stephen William Hawking once suggested that all data is lost once it passes the event horizon. That is to say that everything including light is destroyed. He later recanted. It is largely knowledged that black holes are major distortions of space and time. Some physicist theorize that if you were to witness someone going into a black hole they would appear to slowly stretch. But the person going into the hole wouldn't see this effect. Apparently time slows down for the person passing through the event horizon. Hawkins has theorized that Black holes emit radiation. And if I understand correctly, this means they decay. This hasn't been proved due to noise left over from the big bang.

    So says the History Channel.

black holes are just super dense material that create a really strong gravitational pulls. the grav pull draws things too it and adds it to its mass.

most, if not all galaxies have a black hole/super massive black hole at there centre
Does anyone know the average equator of a black holes event horizon?
