Anyone love this show? I like this show coz i enjoy how they rebuild such an awesome cars..really amazing...
You know when it first came out, I must admit I really liked it.. I thought it was cool.. West Coast Customs was the shit, lol But now.. I watch it.. and it's like.. WTF, How could I have liked this?.. It all seems so scripted and unreal.
^Yes I agree... They do make some nice cars, I never said they didn't But, I just don't like the fact that it is so scripted...That takes away from it all.. It'd be a kick ass show if it seemed more real.
I think its fucking stupid. They stuff every car or whatever they're working on with monitors. Thats it. 12 monitors on the inside of the car and 10 on the outside. You cant watch shit on the bumper. Its fucking stupid. SOME...just some of the paint jobs are ok. The rest all try to be "gangster". Pathedic. And the scripted lines are the retarded. That show sucks balls the size of Jim Morrison's balls.
They put like 20K into a car that is worth 1K, I always wonder how long they run after. On alot of episodes I see the person can barely get the car started, and they don't do anything mechanicly to fix it. What they do is build a show car, and a show car is not a good daily driver. I don't know if you have seen unique whips on the speed channel but I think they do a much better job, I would want to drive a car they do, it's much more classy, not one from west coast customs
I think the cars look like turds when they go into west coast and then look like turds with some glitter thrown on top when they come out. If i had a shit car that barely ran i'd be like; "Hey guys, instead of putting a juice bar in my Feiro can you just like give me a new engine or somthing?"
i think alot of times they over do the cars, if i got on that show the day i got it i would have a for sale sign in the window of that mother fucker
If you want to see a car restororation show worth watching watch OverHaulin. Pimp my Ride is just a buinch of BS. This is a Car Guy talkin.
