I can't stand the taste of Beer.

I am just wondering if it is just what I have been drinking because I don't understand how people can enjoy the taste. The only thing I actually like in alcohol is medium quality vodka in lemonade.

haha that would def help. everyone has their diff taste in beer. i personally like a good wheat beer or ipa. however a lot of ppl dont like ipa because its so bitter. its all up to your taste buds!

 

I don't understand how people actually say they like the taste of Vodka, or any other strong liquor for that matter. Vodka tastes like rubbing alcohol. The only reason I ever drank hard liquor was so I could get drunk faster.

Beer is an acquired taste. I love trying new kinds of beers.

But yeah, I don't understand people liking the taste of Vodka and shit. I always think people just like to look cool and drink hard liquor, but secretly they really hate the taste.

Especially shots of pure liquor, there is no way people like the taste of shots, unless it's flavored.

I think alcohol of any type is an acquired taste associated with being intoxicated.

 

Vodka is an acquired taste if you have a fucking disease that House can't even diagnose where you can't taste anything.

Anybody who says that they like a shot of straight up unflavored vodka needs to talk to the FBI or something, so they can inform them that aliens do exist, and that you are one.

For me, Vodka is not actually about the taste but about the smoother
sensation of its well hidden potency as it goes down.
However, a well made Irish Whiskey like Tellumore Dew or Johnny Walker
has a taste that I cant get enough of. Which is half the reason why
I dont drink hard alcohol anymore. Certain whiskey just have a taste
that I truly love.
As for being smooth, highly potent and very flavourful, I would
suggest trying Grappa if you havent. It's from grapes as is Brandy
but the taste is just unreal. I had some hand made from my step family
who are from Albania, and it was INSANLEY powerful but very smooth
and delicious. We would just sip it out of a cup at work, my boss takes
hits from his bottle during the day :tongue:

Noticed I mentioned in Lemonade guys.... Straight up Vodka tastes bad but it is still better than any other hard liquors that add horrible taste to the already bad tasting alcohol. Don't get me wrong I can chug down a beer to get shitfaced when push comes to shove.

BTW: I really only tried Heineken

 

I've only had Heineken once in my life and it was amazing. I loved it.

 

I almost always chew my pills but I HATE the taste.

 

Rum tastes bomb, I don't mind vodka either.

who here likes a good ol bourbon? good bourbon is my fav hard drink straight up no ice warm. ahhhhh so good! relayer where could one get grappa in the states?
