so i have been pulling all the loose hairs from my head lately. then i got going at it and really pulled this ball/ chunk out of one of my ends..

i was kind of disgusted. it was full of lint and maybe dandruff buildup.. it didnt look like clean nappy hair very much.
it seemed like the lint and fuzzies held most of that part together.

ive had these for about 8-9 months now, never waxed or anything, just natural nappiness and bronners every week.

I feel like its time to really clean these fockers.. got some ideas?

sorry to rant, just felt kinda like cutting them lately.

Sorry, I know this isn't answering your question...you pull out your loose hairs?!

hahah. not usually. sometimes when i know one is not attached at the root, but is freely hanging in my dread, and usually lower, like hanging out the end, ill pull it out of the tangle.

i know this is directly going against the dread process, but oh well.

im not actually ripping out hairs not in dreads.

im going natural. i have a ton of loose hairs as you refer to them. id be bloody and bald if i ripped those out.

i can see how that was confusing.

    Fair enough :p

I don't really know enough about the really good deep cleaning yet...I know it's mentioned in a few other threads though, so hunt around a bit. I'm sure someone more useful than me will answer you soon! I think a certain amount of natural fluff is inevitable though. It's just stuff off your head, so it can't be toooo bad :)

that does help but a certain amount of lint is going to get trapped no way to avouid it if u want u can pick at it casrefully with a needle or pin to try to pry out the lint

i would stop pulling out hairs therewsno reason to they will be part of the dread if loeft alone
