So my room mate at school has this piece called a vapor genie that is basically a vaporizer pipe that works with any lighter... its pretty much the greatest invention ever. It save me so muchmoney cuz it takes barely any weed to pack it and if you smoke an entire pack yourslf you will be nice and blazed. They sell them online at www.vaporgenie.com and they cost 50$. Im sure some of you have heard of them but i didnt see a thread about them through the search so i figured id start one, i just ordered my own, i cant wait till it gets here
I have heard many great things about them.. They also say its a thousand times better on your lungs ... Thx for the info... I will check it out ... update: my vapor genie has arrived (i ordered the exotic harwood model) and i must say its everything i hoped it would be, the company shipped fast and discreetly, i was very satisfied.
First post... I had quite the summer with the vapour genie. I purchased it from a local cannabis shop for around 80$ CDN. I thought it was amazing and I used it, rather abused it, for several months before deciding recently to stop using it for a couple of reasons. 1. I use too much pot when I use this method. I tend to fill a bowl and then another which leads to another. It doesn't get me as high as a good smoke, so its disappointing at times. 2. Being so concealable and easy to use anywhere, I've found myself smoking at awkward times when I wouldn't otherwise, and I lost a bit of appreciation for the great herb. Enjoyment led to abuse. 3. I question the health of inhaling butane. If used with a normal bic lighter, the combustion of butane is not 100%. Some butane is being inhaled, and butane has negative health effects in general. I tried emailing the bic company inquiring as to the combustion % of the butane with no reply, but general chemistry knowledge suggests that there will be tons of free radicals and pure butane in the flame. 4. I found I had an almost allergic reaction after using the vapour genie for a few months. My airways seemed quite obstructed, my nose was extremely runny etc. When I went back to smoking, my lungs and airways are clearer after a session (in keeping with the proper bronchodilatation effects of MJ). I found that smoking in moderation and with appreciation work best for me.
