Most Powerful: Acid or Shrooms?

okay so in my opinion i say acid in generally more powerful. its a longer lasting trip, which gives it more time to build up, and low dosages seem to be more intense then low doses of shrooms.

but which one really takes you the deepest? ive heard that higher dosages that cause you to break through seem to be a deeper broader experience on mushrooms. terrence mckenna exclaims that these psychedelics are all revealing different parts to the same intial truth, and if it were in order it would go something like, mescaline, then lsd, then mushrooms, and then finally dmt.

i have heard of remarkable expereinces on all four. i have heard of those who have eaten thumb prints and experienced total god concious. i have heard of heavy mescaline doses where people go into a mystic trance and travel high into the spirit world. and i have heard of mushroom trips of meeting aliens, transcending time, and having the secrets of the universe unveiled.

which psychedelic do you think is the best for ultimate exploration?

 

i actually feel the best tool for this is mushrooms. also, it could probably be a subjective thing...

but personally, i do acid a lot more than i do mushrooms. so it seems when i do mushrooms, i have much more deeper, meaningful trips.

when i first started dropping acid, the experiences were unbelievably enlightening. now, not so much. maybe i need to up my dosages, i havent taken more than a single hit in a long time.

 

If you have done both, you would know that the two can't be compared. They are two completely different substances, with completely different results. To say that one is more powerful then the other, just means you haven't experienced the full potential of the other.

I think shrooms are a true entheogen. Like DMTand Mescaline. Acid is very psychedelic but its a sub-entheogen in my opinion, because it is part man part nature. The others are all pure products of reality. Sure LSD will show you wonderful truths, but I just think when taking high doses, mushrooms have more potential. I am a bit ignorant in saything this because I have never done a thumbprint... But I have never done a dose of mushrooms at that magnitude. Dunno how I would do that. Way too much shrooms to consume. Isnt there a RC that motabolizes into psilocin?

 

When taking into consideration insanity....LSD kicks shrooms ass because of the length of the damn trip. Never in my life have I ever WANTED a drug to fucking stop. Acid just lasts TOO long, and it gets just, annoying.

DMT is close to Mushrooms in chemical name? Heh.

Just because LSD is synthetic, doesn't make it ANY less of an Entheogen....

So based on that logic, would synthetic Mescaline be less Entheogenic then Mescaline?

An Entheogen isn't based off of the material, but off of the experience provided....

 

What we as humans create is no less a part of reality than what some genes and proteins create in a small brown mushroom

 

i think shrooms as a more intense physical part to it. when i did 10 hits of acid, the visuals were everything was out of this world, but i could still function pretty normally.

when i took a half oz of mushrooms, the physical sensations were just as strong as the visual sensations, it was extremely hard to control myself. there were times of overwhelming intensity. i remember laying on my floor and all of sudden it feels like my rooms tips sideways, and im holding on to a blanket for dear life, as i feel like i being sucked into a black hole, every emotion and feeling of my being sucked up by a cosmic vacuum cleaner.

its seems like they are like different guides to a tour, each guide gives you the same tour, but they point out different aspects and speak to your in different ways.

 

is 7gs a good high dose for shrooms to really trip hard. anyone know

why thank you! and to answer your question, yes, 7 grams is indeed a good amount to trip. try it in a completely dark room, some amazing stuff will happen.

but i think i would get really distracted and bored on 10 hits of fire acid in a dark room lol! i'd start lighting things on fire . . .
