My room mate and i are civil, but we don't have much in common really. There are many differences, but one major one is our views on marijuana. She is completely against it, and one time she kinda freaked out when she her friend told her our room smelled like it. well tonight we began talking about drinking and it developed into a conversation about drugs. I told her why i smoke pot and told her some facts about it. It was pretty nice actually. She understands a bit more about weed, that it doesnt make you go crazy or anything and that no deaths have resulted from it. dhes fine with knowing if i do it and everyting just as long as i dont do it in the room... which i wouldnt do anyway because its plainly stupid. I just think she has a better opinion of it now. so thats all, thought id share.
I had that same convo with our 12 year old a couple weeks ago. She gets pissed when she spells it. Her mama is a traveling bohemian and she's been around it all her life. We are private about doing it and use lots of incense but she still knows and gives us the "I smell the smell I don't like to smell' bullshit. So I sat her down and gave her tons of info about it including why I choose to have it as part of my life. She's not been snide since. Now she realizes if she smells it, the chances are high we will have a goofy night
