I was wondering if anyone else is like us... We regularly have sex while were asleep and only wake up and realise after. Mostly he initiates. Rarely, I do. Sometimes its a both at the same time thing Sometimes memories of it only come back days after. Sometimes we remember straight away The problem is it kind of freaks me out some nights. Neither of us have high libidos when were awake...and its not a case of anything repressed, we just genuinely dont. But at night were like different people, and it even got quite scary and rough on one occasion. It cant be lack of sex whilst awake, as were obviously trying for a family Now Ive done some googling and it looks like this is an actual "condition", but Im getting mixed advice. Some sites say were best off getting some medication. Some say its just stress. Others say its normal and common. Which is right? Does anyone here do the same thing? Thanx
omg maxi. its so weird u wud post this. me and my chap have never both been asleep and had sex but once he woke me up coz he was kissing me and we started to have sex then he sort of made a shocked noise and asked what was goin on and he had been asleep the whole time, tho he had started coming on to me. a similar thing happened the other night to. it freaks the hell out me, so now if he starts i always ask if hes awake. lol.
It's not a problem I've given much thought to. I will now be giving it a considerable amount of thought.:frown:
I'll be paranoid about this now :leaving: Also annoyed.. I might be getting some and not even realising
Good to know were not alone! Yeah its mainly him that starts it with us, infact it might be all the time, its kind of hard to tell as were both fast asleep! Im usually the one waking up with a shocked noise, like what the hell:smilielol5: Its usually all just good fun but I can see it becoming a pain in the future, and I do wake up tired and there was 1 time when it was pretty scary as he was so different Still Im glad were not the only ones! I think hes a bit embarassed. I know I am
yea its well wierd and i felt like a rapist afterwards. lol. but then he violated me one night so i guess we are square now. dunno how u wud stop it from happening tho. watch something miserable before bed to avoid sex dreams
It happened again last night. I have a cold and was already exhausted, so Im not happy Its definitely triggered by stress, the patterns too obvious. Thankfully I wasnt in the middle of any dreams this time! Reminds me of Peep Show when Marks woken up by the woman he thought was a lesbian int he middle of a dream about his mum:smilielol5:
haven't had this problem so sorry I can't really advise, apart from maybe ask a therapist? at the moment I ain't gettin' any day or night
your condition is called 'somnambulism'. in other words 'sleepwalking.' i don't have a high sex drive either, but i use to jerk myself off in my sleep. it was due to psychological stress. once i got away from the stress (school) i quit jerking off in my sleep, i have never done it since. oh, i almost forgot, i found out i was jerking off and not having wet dreams because, i went to a sleep clinic at a medical school.
Thanx everyone Yeah, its definitely stress. Unfortunately its pretty hard to escape. My husband is quitting his old horrible job which should help, but it seems I have this thing too Its been really bad just lately, Im totally knackered out. Scott says I was doing things last night. Oh my word I cant remember. Pretty odd as I went to bed really late Weve got so much going on at the moment with moving and everything, which cant be helping, but hopefully well be able to squeeze in an appointment to talk to someone about this! Its getting boring, believe it or not Its barely even funny anymore
Hey, this sounds very familiar. Me and my ex used to do this all the time for a couple of months. I'd wake up last and believe me I wasn't too miffed about it either, we thought it was kinky and just enjoyed it. I'm not sure it was stress though, I'm pretty sure my ex used to do it on purpose, I woke up once and she had her hand in my gym jams, I smiled and said busted, she pretended she was asleep...tut.....so I took the naughty roll on instead. We enjoyed it. I think it'd be a different story if she didn't...totally different..infact.....bad. If it's a problem I'd suggest sleeping in seperate beds for a bit.
Thanx That does sound fun! hehe. I did enjoy it to begin with, it was loads of fun, if a bit weird to barely remember what we were doing...now its just absolutely tiring...and kind of annoying to me with him waking me up, being rough, or saying I woke him up...Its come to the point where were not doing anything when awake because were too tired, or hes too stressed apparently, which completely sucks We only have the one bed at the moment, and the sofa isnt there either until were all moved and set up...I dont think Id be able to sleep too well alone either though Bah, I just want some normality back. Im feeling pretty neglected, like a sleepy afterthought at the moment!
STILL happening. It's not even mildly funny anymore. I'm seriously going to get my own bed if he doesn't sort himself out, it isn't healthy for me, so he can shove that up his bollocks. I've tried pillows between us and it STILL doesn't stop him
Try wearing a pair of "tighty whiteys" to bed. Maybe in his sleepwalking stupor he'll think you're a dude which could shock him awake and he''ll see what he's doing. If that doesn't work....http://www.janthor.com/on.html Uh...just a thought. LOL! Zen
I know exactly what you mean. One partner of mine used to wake up when I was in the middle of sexing her and yell bloody murder, telling me to get the f*** out of her house! It was crazy. Well, I wouldn't call her a partner exactly ... more ... complete stranger. But yeah, pretty much the same thing.
I'm far from sexy when I go to sleep. Sometimes I do wear my husbands boxers just for the comfort. Any thoughts of me being a guy don't seem to stop him As for the chastity belt, I need one! I wonder if they do chastity bras in the same range...Boobs o steel
That does sound a lot like what I'm going through Ian, yeah Really, I can't think why...Womenfolk eh...they're a complete mystery I tell you, a mystery
