I wear glasses but want to get contacts sometime during this year. Anyone have an idea how much prescription contacts would cost? I don't want to just buy some contacts out of Wal-Mart or something and I can't see out of them. And which color blue would be best to get?
Why not get them at walmart? Same brands. My script (including exam) cost about 80$ at walmart (my first cost over130$ becuase the doctor was expensive). The contacts were like 30$ per box. If your eyyes are eh same script then you can get 1 box and have 3 pairs. If your like me then you will need a box for eash eye (my eyes are very different.) I had blue lenses. if you lose 1 and only have 1 in then everyone knows your wearing contacts as your eyes will be different colors.
I didn't want to get them at Wal-Mart because I wanted prescription contacts that I can completely see out of. But, if I can get them from Wal-Mart and actually be able to see out of them, I guess I could try there.
I wear contacts, and mine came naturally tinted blue. Then again, my eyes are really green so it makes no difference.
The color contacts are about 30.00 per box from LensExpress. The ones that I wear (Fresh Looks) are Rx..You can get them at Wal-Mart Optical but they don't usually have them in stock. I prefer the violet. They show up the best ..My eyes are very dark brown.
They suck real hard. I tried colored contacts for shits and giggles [yes, I do wear prescription lenses, Bausch and Lomb Freshlooks or some shit is what I tried out] and they were completely retarded. Not only does everyone look like either a white trash hoe or a Marilyn Manson wannabe with colored lenses, they slid around my eyes and looked ultra creepy, and I could actually see the colors in my line of vision. I don't know how anybody wears them. Or would even actually want to wear them. Weird concept, they are. [fully expects holier-than-thou shitstorm]
That wasn't the question I asked...I didn't ask for you to tell me your life story, I asked for a price on contacts.
Lol....wow. If you keep your eyes moist then it'll be just fine, Chris. I used contacts for seeing and it wasn't that much of a hassle to care for.... And it won't look fake if you pick a reasonable color. Blue is reasonable. http://www.1800contacts.com/ ^ Once you get your 'scripts try using this.
