Prostitution. There are enough young, hot women in southern CA. Round em up and make em suck some dick for cash.

The econopmy is good for CA. It is a natural solution to the illegal immigration problem.
I am all for legal immigration and am a fan of sending financial Mexico financial help when our economy improves.

gotta love a state that has enough water to keep golf courses green and the wine vineyards producing but not enough for the vegetable fields..

great priorities there.. makes for cheap veggie prices nationwide as well.. not...

When you live there, there is no excuse not to grow your own produce, yet no one I know except my family does. Not growing contributes to every single problem Ca has (illegal immigration, lack of space, crop dusters that raise area cancer rates).

PS-The golf courses can go, but the Vineyards must stay!
There are some awesome biodynamic vineyards there, that make just awesome eco and financial sense.

yeah no shit. it's actually starting to make a dent in things but when I came out here I loaded my pants when I saw housing costs, among other things.

*edit* however I LOVE it out here! I've never felt more comfortable or more at home than anywhere in my life.

by loading your pants, i'm assuming you mean you took a big shit... not that you stuffed a sock in your crotch.

anyways. yes. california is fucked when it comes to finances because no one pays taxes and yet everyone expects the government to pay for everything. that's a gross overstatement, i know, but i've never met more purposeful tax evaders in my life until i moved out here.

but things really are getting crazy. we're in a state of serious concern over drought conditions, because of lack of rain. and i just found out the other day part of the reason it's such bad news for our area is because the majority of our water gets redistributed to... socal. WTF, so MORE people can water their lawns and golf courses so that agriculture is hurt and people's water prices are driven up, and people's wells run dry.

this state, though i love it dearly and feel very at home here, needs to wake the fuck up and realize that the immoderation practiced by this state (well... the whole country, but it's especially prevalent here) is going to be its distruction.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

wow,,thats one of the most rational well thought out posts ive ever saw you make on these boards.. kudos..

and yes,the water situation is VERY dire at this point and sadly the rest of the nation is going to suffer for it. the way the state is prioritizing water distribution is going to decimate the farmers there.
that in turn is going to create SEVERE shortages of many vegetables and send the price soaring on many others..

those who dont realize just how much of americas bread basket california is will find out the hard way this summer.

Calif farmers idle crops, veggie prices may rise

may rise???:smilielol5: you aint seen nothing yet..
