I remember when i was little I thoguht Bob Marley was some bad ugly criminal, but i had never seen him before but he smoked weed which i thought was bad because of what everyone else had told me, DARE and other authority figures. After smoking I realized that I was lied to and Bob Marley is nothing like that.
Clapton also did and didn't do those things. Clapton pwns Marley anyday. His hardcore heroin addiction (well...recovery, now...) and dead kid are epic.
I meant no offence, there are some really good posters in Stoner's lounge but you guys get way more extremely stupid threads than RT
But we make them that way because drugs have totally warped our senses of humor. Ironically though I think we have far fewer actual dumb posters(well posters in general) because we are freakin assholes to anyone we see as an actual idiot. Really I think it's hurting us cause we're scaring away all new people and our forum is dying haha
I'm a huge stoner...but even I can't stand the Stoner's Lounge. I think you have to be a special kind of person to survive in there. In RT, all it takes is some tough skin to stick around and be accepted. Even I got flamed when I first started posting here. No foolies!
You need to be willing to be an asshole and willing to have people be an asshole to you.
